Lawrence & Bonnie: Engagements

Once upon a time I was a new "fomma" (foster momma) to a beautiful two week old baby boy. I was scared to death to send him to a daycare because, honestly, I had heard a lot of bad things. So I didn't. I kept this precious little guy with me or with close family and friends for the first eight weeks he was with me. 

After sneaking him to work meetings with me and working at home a little more than I should have, I finally decided to break down and check out some daycare's. 

At 10 weeks old I dropped my baby boy off for daycare for the first time. I handed this prized possession over to a stranger. A soft-spoken, petite, sweet stranger, but a stranger none the less. And this is where Miss Bonnie came in to our lives!

It has now been a little over a year and I am so beyond thankful for Bonnie and her love for my baby. And he now even has Lawrence wrapped around his little finger. ;) 

They have been there with us during all of the ups and downs of this fostering to adopt process we are going through and now we are more than excited to be able to help them celebrate this most precious time of their life!

Congratulations Bonnie and Lawrence! Bubby, the Girls and I love you guys and are so thankful for you both!

wedding time.

So, one of my very best friends is getting married in just a little over a week, and while I am so sad to be one of the last "single ladies" (haha...not!), I am so excited to get to watch her start this new chapter in her life with Kyle.

We met yesterday at her Grandma's home to do her bridals, and let me just say, she is stunning in her wedding dress!

I promised I wouldn't post pictures until after the wedding, but her groom barely does Facebook so I'm positive he doesn't even know what a blog is, so I have to post a couple!

Heather, you are absolutely one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, with the sweetest nature. I am so honored to be able to call you a friend and sister. Those kindergarten days are long gone and the days of husbands, kids, homes, careers and bills (yuck!) are upon us and I am so thankful to get to do life with someone as fabulous as you! Love you!

I had the honor of photographing a wedding today for a sweet, young couple. Clay graduates from basic training in a few short months and Brittany will join him as they start their new life over in a new place. I pray nothing but the best for them as they go on this journey together!

Life saver. That's what they were for each other. 

Both previously married. Both ended badly. She had a sweet baby girl. He wanted kids. A chance encounter and the rest is history. 

My Uncle Jeff finally met his real one and only! I absolutely love my new Aunt Mandy and my sweet new cousin, Brooklyn. 

These three were just meant for each other. 

After months of computer issues I am just getting these up, but they had a beautiful July wedding!

Oh, and they are expecting another sweet baby! Miss Baylie Grace will be here just before Christmas!
